Our cooks are just as skilled as our professional nursing staff. Each day they prepare delicious, healthy meals our residents look forward to. A registered dietitian oversees all kitchen and dining activities, so those delicious meals are also good sources of nutrition. And we also accommodate medically prescribed diets.
There's so much to do at Heritage Health Care, and how our residents choose to spend their time is completely up to them. We encourage our residents to pursue their interests at their own pace. For those who like to be more socially engaged, Heritage Health Care provides a variety of enjoyable, fulfilling activities. Many of our special events come from suggestions provided by folks who live right here in our community and often involve neighbors from the Chanute, KS area. Or, if they prefer, your family member can spend time on their own reading a good book, getting lunch with visitors, sharing stories and pictures with us, or anything else.
