About Americare Senior Living

Financial Options

We understand that cost is one of the chief concerns for families considering senior care. Our pricing is all-inclusive, clear and transparent so there are no surprises. In addition to transparent pricing, we help families by providing resources and advice on accessing financial assistance for those who are eligible. Financial options that may be available to you include:

Medicare

  • Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or older, certain younger people with disabilities, and people with end-stage renal disease. Medicare can cover the cost of short-term rehabilitation stays, outpatient therapies provided in the assisted living or independent living setting, and hospice services.

Medicaid

  • Medicaid is a joint federal and state program that helps with medical costs for people with limited income and resources. Medicaid also offers benefits not normally covered by Medicare, like nursing home care and personal care services in the assisted living setting. Each state has different eligibility standards. We can help you determine your eligibility for assistance through Missouri’s Medicaid program.

Veterans Benefits

  • Veteran’s benefits are for veterans and survivors who are eligible for a VA pension and require the aid and attendance of another person, as in an assisted living setting. These benefits are paid in addition to monthly pension and can help defray the out-of-pocket cost of assisted living care.

Private Long-Term Care Insurance

  • Private Long-Term Care Insurance is designed to cover the cost of care not covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
